Method 1, Lesson 2 — The Leak | Anchor Method

The Leak

Goal“I didn’t realise that…”

What’s actually draining you — and why you can’t see it. The most dangerous leaks are the invisible ones. Not the obvious pressures. The patterns that have been running so long in the background you’ve stopped noticing them.

Lesson 2 — The Leak 5–8 min

You don’t need more energy.
You need fewer things consuming it.

The Stability Audit — Preview

Finding your
dominant leak

Not all leaks are equal. Most people in the Anchor state have one or two primary leaks responsible for the majority of the drain — and four or five secondary ones that compound it. Fixing the primary leak creates a disproportionate shift in everything else.

The goal of this lesson is not to fix everything at once. It’s to identify the dominant leak — the one that, if addressed, would create the most immediate shift in your energy and stability.

The Three Diagnostic Questions
01
What am I carrying that was never mine to carry?

Name the obligations, expectations, or emotional loads that were absorbed rather than chosen. What would lighten immediately if you set it down?

02
What decision have I been avoiding making?

The open loop consuming the most background power. What decision, if made, would free up significant internal bandwidth?

03
What do I know is true that I haven’t acted on?

The suppressed knowing that costs the most. What truth are you sitting on that, if acted on, would shift the energy of your day immediately?

The key shift in this lesson

Stop trying to add energy from outside. Start removing what’s consuming it from inside. The stability you’re looking for is already available — it’s being spent on things that don’t deserve it. This lesson helps you find out what they are.

Lesson 2 Reflection Prompts
  • Which of the six energy leaks resonates most as your dominant one right now? What’s the evidence?
  • What decision have you been deferring that, if made today, would create the most immediate relief?
  • What truth do you know right now that you haven’t said or acted on? What is the cost of continuing to sit on it?
  • If you traced your exhaustion to a single source — what would it be?
